When this hawk took this snake I was hanging out under the oak tree you see in this image, all I saw was a swoop out of the corner of my eye. I didn't have my camera with me at that moment, I then made my way to my eguipment got my camera and then took this image. The snake never knew what hit him, the power of the srike was amazing and the hawk never even gave me a glance during the whole time I was shooting - he didn't see me as a threat. One for the books......
