Artwork of the Gasparilla Pirate Festival during it's annual pirate invasion. Art shows the invasion with the famous pirate ship "Jose Gasparilla" landing at the Tampa Bay Convention Center (Center of art/ ship with colorful flags) on a beautiful winters day. The invasion has been going on annualy since 1905 and has become one of the major boating events in the world. This piece is part of the art in the book "Pirating the art of Gasparilla", (Out Nov-2011) signed by the artist.
